My Favourite Video Game - Anthony -

My Favourite Video Game
My favourite video game is “Initial D”. It is my favourite game because it is a role playing game. I like driving cars and you are able to drift in the game.
I like driving cars because many of my friends drive and it affects me. For example, my friends have Toyota Camry, Mazda RX-7, Honda Jazz, and Mercedes Benz. It makes me feel excited because I can drive at high-speed in the game. I like it because the car goes up to 180km/h. It makes my heart beat fast!
I used to read the Initial D comic book so I was interested when the game Initial D was out. The main characters are Takumi, a young smart boy who is a high school student. He obtained his driver’s license when he was eighteen. However, his father let Takumi drive crazily in the Akina Mountain. When Takumi was twelve years old, his father told him to use his car to deliver tofu up to the mountain. He drove to the top of the mountain every morning at 4:45 am. Takumi didn’t like to drive but he must listen to what his father said. Bunta was the greatest professional driver thirty years ago. Takashi is also an outstanding young driver. Even though Takashi was a well-known driver, his brother only passed the standard driver. Later they all joined into a car team – “Project D”. I play the driver. It is hard to count because there are too many characters. In the game you are able to drift. I like this feature because in real life we could not drive the same way as in the game. You are able to drift in manual car. For example, you might turn in the corner with high speed so you must be fast when you finished each corner.
I really like game – “Initial D” because it is playing a role. I like driving the car because it can drift.
Australia versus Hong Kong
There are some reasons why I like living in Australia instead of Hong Kong. The main reasons why I prefer Australia are the open space, the lack of pollution and the nice weather.
I like the open space in my house in Australia, it cost the price as buying an apartment in Hong Kong. The houses in Australia are spread out; in Hong Kong there are more apartments because there is less space. Hong Kong has few trees and gardens, except for the richest people. Roads in Australia are wider and cleaner than in Hong Kong because Hong Kong is small and densely populated.
There is less pollution in Australia because there are less people than in Hong Kong. There are trash cans available in Hong Kong, but people there do not use them and instead litter. In Australia annually, people pick-up garbage on the ground for charity. In Australia they recycle to save their trees, I realize people should not litter.
Other than lack of pollution, Australia has nicer weather; it is not as humid as Hong Kong. Hong Kong is very humid and it causes us to sweat when it is summer. In Hong Kong we have to shower often because of the dampness, we sometimes shower three times a day. In Australia we do not have to shower as often. In Hong Kong, people do not spend much time outside and some get sick because it is too hot.
These are three reasons why I prefer to live in Australia. The main reasons are the open space, the lack of pollution and nice weather.
Journals
On Wednesday and Thursday, our Internet connection was congested. My aunt had to have a mechanic fix the internet connection, so the children and I could not play online games. We couldn’t use our Internet phone to speak relatives in Hong Kong. It is an international phone, but the cost is in Hong Kong dollars because it is used to phone to Hong Kong.
Wednesday night, I couldn’t play online game because the network was congested. The game is “Conquer Online”, and I played it for a year. In the game, I chose a role player and play it is a Taoist. There are other characters such as an archer, trojan, and warrior. I didn’t play afterwards; I went down to the basement and continued watching my DVD. It is a device to watch movie. The name of movie is called “A Beauty of New Paradise”. There have four main characters: Le, a guy from Hong Kong. His pre-wife, Ms Sum is also from Hong Kong. They have been together in seven years. Le wants to open a HK style restaurant in Shanghai. It is likely to Hong Kong style milk tea, breakfast, lunch and dinner, etc. Le lost his big money from the bank and He’ll be unable to open his business because he’s broke. He’s been here for a couple of days and he wasn’t very familiar to this strange place. His friend, Long, who had stolen his money. However Le forgave him. So Le must work in the top Shanghai construction company. Long’s girlfriend, Lam, who loves his friend, Le because Lam and Le live together in a coincident moment, then play together, work together in the same company, sleep at the same house, and then they became loving each other step by step and also chathrough the wall. The wall between them was very thin. It was a great TV-series.
On Friday, I decided to visit IMAX because my aunt always tells me to go out and to visit more places. I wasn’t getting used to going out, but now I ‘m trying to go out. My aunt persuaded me to go to play sport or do jogging and told me that it was good for my health because I’m getting fat. It was so hard to lose my fitness. After school I went to visit IMAX and followed our school recreational activity teacher, Hanna. I had waited for the students in the student Lounge Room at 2:00 pm. In IMAX, it wasn’t very big and has a spacious wider screen. It was three Dimension graphic, and its graphic was very interesting. Its came out fairy close to my eyes with my 3D glasses on. The name of movie is called “Deep Sea”. It has mentioned fish were rival and always looks at each other for hunting, but sometimes they are not killing each other and they was very friendly because some fish was helping each other to clean their body and they both worth and benefit. There was very small and tiny fish welcome the huge sea turtle by kissing their shells and bodies. It was very boring and also made me sleeping.
Bibliography: A Famous Person
Zhuge Laing (Kong Ming) (AD 181-334)
Zhuge Liang was one of the greatest and famous strategists in the three kingdoms era. Most modern Chinese Know who he is, even though he died when he was middle-aged.
Zhuge was his family name. He was born in Yangdn County, Langya Commandery and it was in an ancient time. This county is now called – Yishi County, Shandong Province. He had no parents because his died when he was nine and his father died when he was twelve. He also had two brothers. He wanted revenge against Cao Cao for damaging his village. He also wanted to teach the next generation his skills. His goal was to become a strategist and to help a good leader or king.
His other name was “The Sleeping Dragon”. Later, he joined the team of Liu Bei and led the team. However, when he joined the team no one listened to him because they thought he was too young. When Zhuge grew older he became the Premier of Shu. One day, he defeated Cao Cao by using the “Fire-chained strategy”. It nearly killed him, too. After this happen everyone listened to Zhuge.
People Thought Zhuge was cautious, well-spoken, brave and a clam person. He didn’t have any ambition and was helpfully to give out strategies. He never deceived anybody. He’s not only using his magic and he also used his ability to predict the wealther and to tell fortunes.
He died from exhaustion. Before he died, he invented two powerful items. One was “The wooden ox and floating horse”, which contained daily rice, water and grass. The other was a hot air balloon called the “Kong Ming Lantern”. Because his team of Shu was going to separate, he made himself tired. Luckily, he got a fellow student, Jaing Wei, who was able to help him and learned from Zhuge. Zhuge died from the war, which was fought the Northern Cao Cao.
He always used his trademark feather fan when he entered the battlefield. He wrote books called “Thirty six strategies of Zhuge Liang” and “Mastering the Art of War”.
This why he is famous and he is also my favourite character. I have watched a film about him several times.
